The campaign of Trish and Matteson for State Assembly strongly condemns the white supremacist rally at UVA this weekend. We believe that those who don't speak out against bigotry and racism are complicit in its propagation. We all must be strong enough to stand up and speak out against racism is our own district and throughout the United States. Inclusiveness and acceptance are the keys to peace. We see it here in our own communities, and without vigilance an event like this can happen anywhere.
We pledge to all residents to be leaders who embody a true nature of inclusiveness and tolerance towards all races, creeds, and nationalities. We pledge to do so not only because it is the American way, but because we know it is the key to a prosperous future in Northwest New Jersey. Let us not succumb to normalizing the uprising of white supremacy anywhere throughout our beautiful country. There is only one side of history to be on today and always. A vote for Kate and Gina this November brings these ideals to Trenton to work for you.
